Floof & Weenie is named for the shapes and fur that make this dog family so wonderfully mismatched: plenty of floof, plus a very recognizable weenie-dog silhouette.

Pierre

Three pounds. A whole room of personality.

Pierre may only weigh three pounds, but his personality takes up the whole room. There never seems to be quite enough time or attention to satisfy this little guy, and he is always ready to be part of whatever is happening. If there is a conversation going on, Pierre will happily join in, invitation or not. He is our tiny guard dog, always alert, excitable and convinced he is much bigger than he really is. Behind all that energy is the most precious little face and a huge personality packed into an incredibly small package. Pierre is an affectionate, spirited and vocal Chihuahua with a white coat, chocolate patches across his body and face, and hazel eyes. He is the dad of Libby, Bidi and BamBam.

Pinky

Sweet, mysterious and always ready to dance.

Pinky is our sweet and mysterious little Pomeranian, with a personality every bit as charming as she is beautiful. She has the happiest little prance and loves to show off with graceful, dancer-like turns that make her look like she knows she has an audience. Once she has had her fill of attention and interaction, she is perfectly content to disappear under a blanket, curl up and snooze in peace. Pinky has a lovely balance of playful, social energy and quiet independence. She is the approximately eight-pound white Pomeranian mama of Libby, Bidi and BamBam, and her black patch on the right side of her face makes her instantly recognizable.

Joey Knight

Regal, thoughtful and quietly charismatic.

Joey Knight is our handsome, regal Italian Greyhound with a calm, composed presence and a name inspired by Joey from Friends. Like his namesake, he has an easy charm that naturally draws people in. He can be a little shy at first, but his good looks, intelligence and gentle personality quickly win people over. Joey has the polished appearance of a very bougie little gentleman, but underneath that refined exterior he is incredibly fast, agile and athletic. He comes from a line of show-quality, AKC-registered parents, which shows in his elegant build and classic Italian Greyhound features. Joey is the approximately fourteen-pound, jet-black dad of Fig, Newton, Betty, Boop and Indie Blue.

Barbie

Prim and proper. Country girl at heart.

Barbie is the definition of prim and proper on the outside, country girl at heart. She has an elegant, polished look and carries herself like a little lady, but she is happiest outside chasing squirrels, soaking up the sun and enjoying the simple things. Her sweet, confident personality comes with a playful streak whenever there is something to investigate in the yard. She is also more than happy to slow down for cuddles, attention and a little pampering. Barbie has heterochromia, carries the dapple gene, and is the approximately nine-pound Dachshund mama of Fig, Newton, Betty, Boop and Indie Blue.

How the name happened

A little floof. A little weenie.

The name comes straight from the parents: the fluffy coats and the long, low shapes living together under one roof. The Instagram page grew from sharing this funny little family, and the puppies are now part of that same story.
